To Live is to Love.

To Live is to Love.

Well it’s been one incredible journey, from Bogotá, Colombia to Montevideo, Uruguay. Driving over 6,000 miles through six countries, performing in 13 major cites, multiply small towns, 15 prisons, numerous schools, homes for the elderly and disabled. We touched both large crowds and individuals, from the rich to the homeless and the young to the old.

We faced great danger in many areas, sleepless nights and sickness; we walked in overwhelming joy and laughter as well as times of sorrow and suffering. We pushed our bodies to new limits and saw God work in ways beyond what we imagined. We witnessed things that no eye has seen and had the privileged of actually being used to bring the love of the Father to thousand of lives.

We have now returned to the United States for a while to take care of some things as well as work to recover our finances. We will continue to minister the Gospel here and help the poor, elderly and homeless of this country as well. We will return to South America in their summer (our winter) and pick up where we left off. It was really hard to leave, especially when we had received numerous requests to perform in all the prisons and an SOS village for orphans but we promised to come to them as soon as we return. Surely it is true, the one who loses his life for the sake of the Gospel, finds a life that is life indeed. There is no joy like the joy of giving of yourself to love others.

There are some things we really hope to take back with us when we return to South America this time. One of those things being pictures and a dvd of beautiful places (mountains, forest, rivers ecs.) to be able to give the prisoners and people that have never seen such things. We hope to visit some of the gorgeous state parks of America and shoot time elapsed photography which we will then put with music a theme and message of God's profound love. We have a creative idea to use an actual physical door and shoot it in various settings conveying that no matter where you are physically; there is a door that you can access to another place.  I will post some pictures as the whole thing develops.

I also want to bring back some different things for gifts like little stuffed animals, printed posters, bracelets, small rain ponchos and hopefully those little tinfoil type blankets they sell at Wal-Mart and camping stores. I know most people hesitate to give money to a stranger since we all work hard for what we earn, but if perhaps any of you reading this have access to anything that I stated above or would like to contribute in that way, I would be grateful for any donations (especially the tin blankets, they would be perfect to give to prisoners that suffer extreme cold). Also come January, we will need to get a lot of things printed in color since printing down there is very expensive. If anyone has means to print in an inexpensive way, or would like to help out in this area, please drop me a note (whatwouldyoufightfor@yahoo.com and I have a paypal account at that address). If you followed my blog, or even checked it occasionally you have seen the pictures that prove what I will use these things for.
I probably will not keep up on my blog as much while we are in the States because as we travel, we do not have access to the internet very often but I’ll try. I am finishing a slideshow of our trip and will post the video for you when I can (hopefully soon).
To anyone who reads this, May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind  be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rains fall soft upon your fields….

May God bless you and keep you safe.
Go Irish!
No matter how bleak a situation may seem, there is a Door waiting to take you to a better place.
May you never be afraid to let go and fly!
